Workflow

From a trade file to your real take-home

Step 01

Import your trades

Export your trade history as a CSV file from TradeSea or R|Trader Pro and add it. Assets Plus reads every fill, pairs entries with exits and skips trades it has already seen. Automatic sync is planned, not available.

  • CSV files from TradeSea and R|Trader Pro
  • Trades already imported are skipped
  • Each trade is dated by the 5 p.m. Chicago close

Sep 9, 8:30 a.m.NQ+$240Sep 9

After 5 p.m., so it counts toward the next day.

Step 02

Assign trades to firms and accounts

You choose the account each file belongs to, and each account belongs to a prop firm you name. Evaluation and funded accounts stay separate.

  • Add any prop firm by name
  • Evaluation and funded accounts kept apart
  • See trades per account and per firm

Step 03

Review daily P&L on a calendar

Every trading day on one calendar, for one account, one firm or all of them together. Each day closes at 5 p.m. Chicago time.

  • Green and red days at a glance
  • Filter by firm or account

Firms, platforms and import methods

These are three different things. Your prop firm pays you, your platform is where you trade, and an import method is how your trades reach Assets Plus.

Why a trading day ends at 5 p.m. Chicago time

Futures trade almost around the clock. Each new trading day starts at 5 p.m. Chicago time, which is 6 p.m. in Montréal and Toronto, and runs until 4 p.m. the next afternoon.

So a trade you place at 8 p.m. on Tuesday counts toward Wednesday. Assets Plus uses the same cut-off, so your calendar matches how futures days are counted.
